ARTIST STATEMENT

With oils as my medium, the subjects I choose depict my love of the outdoors. Capturing the light and energy of nature's peace is what inspires me.  I continue to evolve in my artwork using new techniques. My recent abstract work with acrylics and a palette knife is a liberating language building color and textured movement. My colleagues and clients have described my pieces as colorful and moving. Through painting, I deepen my connection with the world around me.
